Cycling at Bukit Lalit Sg.Liang @30.5.2014

Cycled, jogged and walked with Zofian, Ilham and myself. We had 2 bicycles and we took turn to jog/walk. The weather was excellent after a long day of cloudy. We started with a climb to the first hill at Bukit Pak Natu - Ilham shared some tips on how to make the climb.

Hiking with "Geng Tasek Ria - GTR" Group from Tasek lama to Tasik Serubing

I was invited by Hj Jeffry to join a trip from Tasik Lama to Tasik Serubing with his hiking group called "GENG TASEK RIANG - GTR". The meeting point was at Tasik Serubing and a bus was chartered to take the group to Tasek Lama where we started the journey. This group is an experienced hikers and this is their play area. Salute to them!

At the last quarter of the journey near Pondok Markucing, I experienced muscle cramps which made me to slow down. I was the last person in the group to arrive at Tasik Serubing.

Shout out "Assalamualaikum" to the 4 ladies whom i met at Bukit Luba. Thank you for the advise on which route to take & for visiting my blog..

Highlights:
Learnt how to identify the famous Tongkat Ali.
Learnt how to identify pohon Limpanas - I didn't managed to snap a picture.

Short hike at Taman Rekreasi Herba Kg Putat

After my hike at Bukit Lupak Luas, I decided to venture into Kg Kasat and Kg Putat. I saw a sign indicating to another Taman Rekreasi Herba Kg Putat. It was a excellent finding.. enjoy some pictures below..

I like the concept of Herbs Park since I don't know anything about natural herbs - I wished they would put permanent labels with brief description that grow on the park..

Hiking with villagers of Kg Lupak Luas opening new trail at Bukit Lupak Luas


I was invited by Hj Jeffry to come along with his group for the opening of a new trail at Bukit Lupak Luas. The weather was very excellent throughout the hike. Enjoy the pictures taken along the hike. It was a slow hike because Hj Jeffry who was the point man had to slash his way up the hill. They will improve the trial in several phases.

We could see clear view of Istana Nurul Iman, Batu Satu, Yayasan, Water villages, Bukit Subok, Pulau Berambang.
